the apps i use to keep myself organized

as a college student, i already have a whole amount of things to do that I just don't feel like doing but add a magazine editor and a job, i have a lot of things i want to keep organized and in my brain. these are personal apps and sites i use to keep track of my life. i will have a button to visit that site or app if you'd like to use it for yourself. let's get into it!

  1. notion

the notion is something that i just recently started using, but it is an absolute lifesaver when you take the time to properly set it up. i use it for contacting and sharing ideas with my team as well as managing all my school assignments and personal tasks. to the left of the screen if you're on the desktop is a screenshot of my personal notion. it is where i remind myself of little mundane tasks and have the time and date on there. as my headboard, i have a little pinterest inspo board to add to the aesthetic. the cool thing about this is that the way my notion is set up was already done for me because it was template from another user. for free too, so all i had to do was personalize it to myself and i was all set. i check and use my notion on my laptop and phone, which can be more convenient and accessible if you download the app. you can set notifications so you don't miss any tasks you might have. overall, notion for me is a 10/10. it's free, its easy to use, and cute when you set it up in a way that motivates you.

2. google calendar

the great thing about google is that not only is there a calendar, but associated with your email is also google drive to store videos, and information, google docs to create documents and resumes and google slides to create professional presentations either for your school or work. everything is connected to one account and can be downloaded either on your laptop or phone or iPad. google calendar is also a 10/10 for me. once again, it's easy to use, free, and makes life less boring because you have something to look at when you wake up and when you go to bed.

google calendar comes with:

  • gmail

  • drive

  • docs

  • slides

  • sheets

  • forms

  • finance

  • chrome

  • translate

i use all of these one way or another and it helps that they are all under one account. make sure for the best experience, turn on notifications

some other apps my team recommends:

  1. reminders app on iphone

  2. notes app on iphone

  3. monday.com

  4. asana

  5. Microsoft to-do( i also use this)
