Hello to all of you early 2000s babies who are trying to reminisce on their old days in high school. You've come to the right place. Today I’ll be assigning 10 songs to the iconic film 10 things I hate about you.Okay, I lied. It’s only 5 characters but I’ll also put 5 of my favorite songs mentioned or played in the movie. I’ll put them here on a list and if you choose to add them to your playlist, you have them. The reason I don’t just link a playlist is because not everybody has Spotify, some have Apple Music. I'm just trying to think of everyone. The way I’ll be doing this is 1 song for each main character. The song I think will fit them the most based on their character. Character 1: Kat Stratford
Age: 18
Zodiac Sign: Capricorn
Capricorns are highly ambitious, mature and practical. As an earth sign, they are innately very grounded and prefer to keep a tight social circle. They love making their own rules.
Her Description: A proud,antisocial, non-conforming feminist who listens to alot of Riot Grrl, Letters to Cleo and in the beginning of the movie Bad Reputation by Joan Jett. She may act like she’s all tough, but inside she has things that are going on so she tries to hide it with a mask. Her song would be:

Character 2: Patrick Verona
Age: 18
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
Geminis are flexible, extroverted, and clever, and there's never a boring moment while they're around. Their flaws include indecisiveness, impulsivity, unreliability, and nosiness.
His Description: As described by The New York Times he’s a "rough-edged outsider" and "teenage rebel,” is Kat’s love interest in the film. He is a new student to the high school who moved from Milwaukee the same year the movie begins. He is known as the resident “bad boy” who hangs out at a pool hall, smokes cigarettes, and drinks. His song would be:

Character 3: Bianca Stratford
Age: 16
Zodiac: Leo
Leos are radiantly joyful. They are fiercely proud and confident. They love and live life to the fullest rather than being in charge at home, work, and play. Leos are very loving, theatrical, and creative. They were born to be stars.
Her Description: Bianca is portrayed as the stereotypical brand-obsessed teenage girl as she gushes over her Prada Backpack. Throughout the film she maintains an emphasis on appearances and brands. She is considered one of the most popular girls at her school and is frequently sought after by guys, most notably Joey, her sister’s ex-boyfriend.
Bianca’s greatest desire is to be seen as a socialite and to become the most popular girl in school. Her only (mentioned) friend, Chastity, later betrays her in favor of dating Joey. Throughout the movie she has a friendship with Cameron who has expressed his feelings for her, and eventually they date at the end of the film after Cameron confronts her for being selfish. Her song would be:

Character 4: Cameron James
Age: 16
Zodiac: Pisces
Pisces are charming, romantic and considerate. They make others feel special. Pisces characters are regarded for being among the most sympathetic of the zodiac signs, and they will go to great lengths to ensure the happiness of those around them.
His Description: Cameron is somewhat of a low-profile character but he is known for being sweet and selfless. He is enamored with Bianca and constantly tries to win her favor. He is the exact opposite of Joey, who is vulgar and only wants to date Bianca to get back at Kat. Cameron constantly helps Bianca with whatever she asks. In contrast to Patrick, who is seen as intimidating and standoffish, Cameron is seen as sweet and delicate. Cameron routinely tries to ask out Bianca or flirt with her, but she doesn’t seem to ever reciprocate his feelings until she kisses him after the party. At the end of the film he asks Bianca to prom and the next day they begin officially dating. His song would be:

Character 5: Joey Donner
Age: 18
Zodiac: Leo
Leo’s amazing confidence means they don’t even consider themselves as being in the same stratosphere as other people. These folks were born to be stars and aren't prepared to let anyone steal their thunder.
His Description: Joey is a playboy, model and he's the school's most popular kid. Joey is a self obsessive, stuck up moron who only cares about himself and his looks. Joey eyes Bianca who’s also one of the most popular girls in school. With the help of Cameron and his friend Micheal he pays Patrick to date Kat, but his plan backfires when the two fall in love. At the prom he learns that Bianca has found out about his plan, and has dumped him for Cameron. He then reveals the arrangement and causes Kat and Patrick to break up. He then punches Cameron in the face, only for Bianca to return the favor and punch him once more for Kat, and kick him in the groin. His song would be:
